About Me

Saad was always the class clown, but did not officially join the amateur comedy industry until 1995 when he stared to perform Improvisational Comedy with his college Improv Troupe - McGill Improv. In 1997 he tried his hand at Standup Comedy at an open mike during the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, Canada, and was an instant success.

By 2002 Saad was performing Standup Comedy at colleges as part of the NACA Conference and performing on the road and in NYC with nearly 4-5 sets a week. In 2002 he was regular in the “New Class Clowns Show” at Carolines Comedy Club in NYC as well as regular returning comedian on Thursdays and Sundays at Governors and Brokerage Comedy Clubs on Long Island.

Although he does not perform Standup as often now, he still keeps his comedy muscles primed, be doing both Improv and Standup Comedy at local venues.

With his unique take on life being a published scientist, a Muslim-American, and South Asian. Saad will have you rolling in laughter as he talks about family, physics, racial profiling and being a Muslim-American living in the US.
